Weeki Wachee Canoe & Kayak Rental - About 65 miles (but worth the trip) Paddle down the spring fed, crystal clear Weeki Wachee River in our canoes or kayaks. Water temperature average is 74°F year round. We offer a seven mile trip going with the flow of the river. Your self guided adventure averages about 2.5 hours with easy paddling and without stopping along the river. However you may take more time if you choose as long as you make it to our pick up point on time. We have taken this trip several times and it is highly recommended. Outback Steakhouse - About 2 miles Well worth a visit if you enjoy really good steak cooked just as YOU like it. A friendly, family ranch style restaurant. Our favourite eating place. Golden Corral Buffet & Restaurant - About 2 miles A absolutely wonderful 'all you can eat' restaurant. The choice is almost endless and the quality is excellent. We recommend visiting this place when you are really hungry. Ideal for before or after a day at the theme parks. Walmart - less than 1 mile Open 24 hour Superstore. Just about anything you might need and lots of choice. groceries, gifts, clothing, footwear, underwear, nightwear, Disney clothing and gifts, pool fun stuff, pharmacy, cosmetics, jewellery, etc Horse World Riding Stables - less than 2 miles We are not 'horse' people but it is nearby and looks a nice place to visit A web site which helps you find out where places are.
